Forest City Comic-Con is coming up soon. Won’t be there. Too soon. I’m aiming for London Comic Con end of summer. Two new LondOntLife books are proofing, and when printed there will be four unseen new books.
Have been setting up storefronts and pay systems. While at London’s Free Comicbook day I was impressed by Square’s ease of use and iPhone app. Setting up the store online and managing Inventory I don’t have polite expletives for. WordPress and Woo Commerce understand interface issues. I think I can manage inventory from WordPress and sync to the Square inventory system for mobile appearances.
Facebook and Google recoil at allowing or promoting digital downloads, it seems. Some cracks to pave over here just yet, but there are digital versions of the books at the online store as well as access to purchasing remaining print LondOntLife books.
So, at London ComicCon I will have new books and a selection of recoloured prints of previous black and white cartooning work from the past years. The City Tree Haircuts cartoon above was a very early cartoon at The Londoner. We have spent some time recovering and restoring a lot of older work.
There should be about twenty fresh, recovered, and recent and recoloured cartoons at my table.
